Monthly Second Saturday Work Parties (usually)

March 8, 2025 (SAT.)

1 — 4 PM

Help Us Nudge Along the Prairie Restoration

We will weed wildflower and milkweed plots, or dig blackberry. Bring your own water bottle and gloves. Knee pads are a good idea if you have them, and a favorite hand weeding tool (hori knife is a good choice.)

Come enjoy a sunny afternoon and a taste of early spring along the Greenway. We may see the black phoebe or red-shouldered hawk that have been frequenting the park, and possibly newly arriving tree swallows or rufous hummingbirds. If we are really lucky perhaps we will see the first osprey, due back from Central America any day!
